About a week ago, a teaser trailer for an upcoming indie game exclusive to the Nintendo Switch was released. Dubbed “Seasons of Heaven”, apparently this is based on a book and for those curious about the game, not to worry as its developers have promised, the full trailer has since been released, giving us a better look at what to expect.

Developed by Any Arts, Seasons of Heaven might not be a big name or known to many, but it is interesting because it is the first indie game that we have heard confirmed for the Switch, not to mention it is also an exclusive. From what we can tell in the trailer, the graphics look pretty good, although there does appear to be some issues with the frame rate as it feels choppy.

Some comments have also pointed out the slightly robotic animations, but given that this is supposed early alpha footage, hopefully its developers will be able to clean things up in time for its release. We’re not sure what kind of gameplay features are there or what the game will be about, but the pairing of a young boy and his dog certainly has a “The Last Guardian” vibe to it.

In any case if you have a few minutes to spare, you can check out the trailer in the video above. In the meantime Nintendo is expected to detail the Switch at an event on the 12th of January, 2017, so check back with us then if you’d like to learn more about the console as well.
