Uncharted fans will be very excited to find out that their beloved franchise is back. Naughty Dog made a couple of very interesting announcements at the PlayStation Experience event earlier this week and one of them included Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. It’s a new standalone story chapter that’s going to be released for the PlayStation 4.

Think of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as The Last of Us: Left Behind. It’s a standalone story that takes characters from the main game and presents players with a new story and a new challenge. It’s a formula that has worked well in the past so Naughty Dog is recreating it with the Uncharted franchise.

Characters in The Lost Legacy include Chloe Frazer who made her debut in Uncharted 2 and Nadine Ross who is one of the antagonists from Uncharted 4. A trailer has been released and it gives us a glimpse of what to expect from this new standalone story chapter. Naughty Dog is yet to confirm when Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is going to be released for PlayStation 4.

Naughty Dog’s other interesting announcement was a pretty big one. It has confirmed The Last of Us Part 2 at the PlayStation Experience 2016 event, and I’m sure many will be looking forward to finding out more about this new title, myself included.
