activ5-1[CES 2017] The new year would bring with it opportunities to start afresh as well as anew. For many of us, this would mean taking the fight to the hilt in the battle of the bulge, especially around the waist area. Well, what other possibilities are there, and can technology aid us in our quest? Apparently so, as Activbody has revealed the Activ5. The Activ5 happens to be the very first wireless-enabled, isometric-based strength training device which will help you save on that gym membership, as it coaches you through 5-minute, low-impact, full-body workouts.

You might be prepared to sweat it out on the CES showfloor this year with the Activ5 being made available for first-hand experience. This is a device that allows just about anyone with a smartphone to help remain fit, or at least to get started on that road. It is sleek and portable enough to bring with you wherever you go, allowing you to enjoy full-body toning even if you are sitting — or standing, of course. Throughout it all, it will also keep track of results on the companion Activ5 App which will be available on the iOS and Android platforms.

Activ5 promises of having over 100 unique workouts for you to try out, and these are deemed to be speedy and fun. Far better to use this than those time killers known as mobile games, right? Not only are they a snap to implement regardless of virtually where you are, it will keep track of vital statistics such as strength, strength increases, precision and other personal metrics.

Sporting a durable design which can measure over 200 lbs. of force, the Activ5 will certainly allow users to increase their strength by as much as 5 percent each week if one follows through the exercises without fail, while letting you tone and strengthen muscles through short, 5-minute workouts a few times a day.

Expect the Activ5 to begin shipping at the end of this month onward.
