Amazon already offers three own-brand credit cards and it’s now adding a fourth to the list. The new card is called the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card and as the name suggests, it’s meant for members of the Amazon Prime program. The card is a new benefit for Amazon Prime members and it’s focused on providing them with rewards so that they get the most bang for their buck.

Adding another card to the list is one of the ways Amazon continues to provide more value to those who pay $99 to subscribe to Amazon Prime. They already get a lot of benefits aside from free two-day shipping on millions of items, now they can have their own credit card that sits a notch above the rest.

Two of the three own-brand credit cards that Amazon offers can only be used on Amazon.com and select retailers that use Pay with Amazon. The third card is called Amazon.com Rewards Visa and it can be used at almost all retailers and it also offers 3 percent cash back on purchases made at Amazon.com.

The new card is basically an upgraded version of the third card. It promises Prime members with 5 percent cash back on purchases that they have made via the online retailer. As previously mentioned, only Amazon Prime members can sign up for this credit card. The card itself is made out of metal and not plastic so it looks and feels great too.
