It was first reported about a week ago that the upcoming beta of Apple’s wearable device OS is going to introduce a new Apple Watch Theater Mode. As the name suggests, this mode is going to make the smartwatch less intrusive in cinemas and theater halls. It’s not uncommon for people to check their notifications or messages on the Apple Watch while the show is still going on and that can irk others around them.

The Apple Watch Theater Mode will make sure that the smartwatch behaves properly in those scenarios. Apple has now released watchOS 3.2 beta to developers and the Theater Mode is present. It will enable the user to quickly mute the sound on their wearable device and avoid waking up the screen when they raise their wrist.

The mode won’t shut off notifications which will continue to come in but in order to view them, users will have to tap on the smartwatch’s screen or press the digital crown instead of lifting up the wrist and lighting up their entire seat in a dark cinema hall.

Apple is also included support for SiriKit in this latest watchOS beta. It will enable users to perform actions like book an Uber, send text messages, make or cancel payments, and more using Siri. It will also enable third-party Apple Watch apps to tap into Siri to provide users with additional functionality. Apple hasn’t confirmed as yet when watchOS 3.2 is going to be released for the Apple Watch.
