Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm is meant to be the company’s answer to Valve’s DotA and Riot’s League of Legends. However if there is one aspect of the game which could be holding back more players from adopting it, it would be the fact that Blizzard is charging quite a high price to unlock its heroes.

The good news is that this coming weekend, Blizzard has decided that they will unlock all of its heroes for free. In case you’re unfamiliar, Heroes of the Storm does not allow players to play every hero for free. Gamers can either unlock heroes by using in-game gold or paying real money, which depending on the hero will range in price.

This means that for this weekend only, you will be able to access all of the characters on the roster, so that maybe it will help you decide if a particular hero could be worth investing your money in. According to Blizzard, “To kick off 2017, celebrate everything that has happened in the past year, as well as everything we have planned for the year to come, we’re inviting everyone to enjoy three days of a completely full Hero roster from January 13–16!”

So if you are interested, then perhaps you’ll want to spend this weekend playing the game and taking the various heroes for a spin.
