As we have heard in the rumors, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is said to be launched alongside the Nintendo Switch this coming March, and sure enough those rumors and speculation have been proven true as the game will be released alongside the Switch whose release date is currently set for the 3rd of March, 2017.

We should remind gamers not planning on getting the Switch that Breath of the Wild will also be available for the Wii U. The experience is said to be the same, although the Switch version will be taking advantage of the console’s newer and more powerful (compared to the Wii U) hardware.

It was also revealed during Nintendo’s presentation that it will be compatible with Nintendo’s new amiibo figures, such as the Wolf Link figure, although the figurine will be sold separately. There will also be three versions of the game that will be available: standard, special, and master edition.

The special edition will feature a carry case, a collectible coin, map, tapestry, and the game’s soundtrack. The master will is the same except that it will feature a special Master Sword figure and will be priced at $130. In the meantime you can check out the game’s latest trailer which really shows how vast and expansive the world in Breath of the Wild is.
