We didn’t see a lot of Android Wear-powered smartwatches being released in the second half of last year. Some of the major Android Wear partners decided against launching new models at least until the second major update for the platform is released later this year. Google has gradually been removing some of those old smartwatches from its online store. If you’ve been meaning to pick up a Fossil smartwatch, you should keep in mind that you can’t buy a Fossil smartwatch from the Google Store anymore.

Google appears to be cleaning up the hardware offerings on its online store, particularly smartwatches, because it has removed the listings for the Fossil smartwatches soon after removing the remaining Huawei Watch models from the store.

At one point, all of Fossil’s smartwatches were sold through Google Play. The lineup included the Q Founder which was released in 2015 as well as the Q Marshal and Q Wander both of which were released late last year. Google is no longer selling all three of these smartwatches through its online store, the move makes sense, these smartwatches didn’t really take off.

If you absolutely must purchase a Fossil Q Founder, Q Marshal or a Q Wonder, then head over to Fossil’s website because the company is still selling them directly to anyone who wants to spend their money on one.
