mega-man-mobileTowards the end of 2016, Capcom confirmed that Mega Man 1-6 would be released on mobile devices on the 5th of January, 2017, and sure enough that has happened. If you have been looking forward to getting your hands on the classic titles, you’ll be pleased to learn that all six games are now available via the iTunes App Store and Google Play.

Capcom has clearly gone with the paid-for route as each title is priced at $2, meaning that you should expect to spend about $12 for all six titles. The game are also essentially the same version that you might have played on the NES back in the day, except that it is now playable on mobile devices.

Unfortunately Android Police’s review of the game did not seem too favorable. For some reason the framerates aren’t as smooth as they should, which is weird given that phones these days are essentially powerful computers in our pockets. Also there are reports that the onscreen controls are pretty finicky, not to mention there is apparently no support for third-party Bluetooth controllers either.

In any case we guess you’ll have to try it for yourself to decide if reliving memories is worth $2, so head on over to either app store for the download.
