Resident Evil fans are happy today because the latest iteration in this popular franchise has finally been released. They can start playing Resident Evil 7 biohazard today. The new game returns to the series’ roots and delivered an enhanced experience unlike what fans of the franchise have experienced previously. They will also be happy to find out that the first Resident Evil 7 DLC release date has also been confirmed.

PlayStation 4 owners will get access to the first Resident Evil 7 DLC titled Banned Footage first. Those who have the Deluxe Edition of this game or own a Season Pass will get the DLC as soon as it launches. Players can purchase each DLC package separately if they want.

The first Resident Evil 7 DLC titled Banned Footage Vol. 1 is going to be released on January 31st for $9.99 and it includes two tapes as well as a new mode.

Bedroom will have players figuring out how to escape from a locked room. In Nightmare, they have to fend off waves of enemies and survive in the morning. The Extra Mode: Ethan Must Die is a new “tough-as-nails” mode separate from the tapes and the main story of the game.

The second DLC pack – Banned Footage Vol. 2 – is going to be released on February 14th for $14.99. It will bring two new taps and a new mode as well. More information about the upcoming DLC packs for Resident Evil 7 will be revealed in the near future.
