[CES 2017] There are many good reasons to be concerned about the air quality around you, and health is probably a pretty big reason. For example some people might be allergic to all the pollutants in the air, or some people who are sick find it hard to recover because of bad air quality, or in some extreme cases where smog blankets an entire city, it’s just bad for health for everyone and anyone.

The good news is that if you’re really particular about the air quality around you, the folks at Plume Labs have announced a new wearable/portable tracker called Flow. As you can see in the video above, Flow is small enough where you can wear it around your neck, or hook it onto the side of your pants or bag, and what it does is it measures the air quality around you.

It will be able to track all kinds of indoor and outdoor pollutants and relay that information to an accompanying smartphone app. It is also capable of tracking the temperature and humidity levels, and the best part is that because the information is shared amongst Flow users, you will be able to find areas in the city that might not be as polluted, so if you want a breath of fresh air you can search for areas nearby.

No word on pricing just yet, but Flow is expected to be available later this spring. Those who are interested can pre-register their interest on its website.
