gamevice-iphone-7There are certain games that take advantage of your smartphone’s touchscreen display in a good way. Then there are other games that are typically played with controllers but because of the touchscreen, they have included onscreen controls instead which are really quite a pain to use and play with.

This is why external controllers exist, and if you’re after a new set of controllers for your iOS devices, you’ll be pleased to learn that Gamevice has announced new controllers for the iPhone and the iPad. As you can see in the photo, these controllers will clip to either side of your device and because they connect to your phone using the Lightning port, it also means that setting it up will be a cinch and you don’t have to worry about Bluetooth connectivity.

The controllers themselves will also come with their own headphone jack, so for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus gamers, you guys will be able to use wired headphones with the controllers. The design of the controllers are pretty standard with a directional pad on one side and buttons on the other. Each side will also come with analog sticks and bumper buttons on the left and right shoulders.

They are priced at $99.95 each regardless of which device you want to purchase it for, so head on over to Apple’s Online Store if you’d like to get your hands on them.
