huawei-p10-leakLast year Huawei announced the Huawei P9 which caused a bit of confusion and controversy over its use of Leica’s camera technology. However despite that, the phone proved to be pretty popular amongst consumers and so it makes sense that the company has plans to follow it up with a new phone in the Huawei P10.

The handset has yet to be officially announced, but in the meantime it seems that press renders of the handset have leaked onto the internet, giving us a glimpse at what we might be able to expect. For starters we guess it goes without saying that the Leica collaboration is still ongoing on the P10 will be retaining the dual lens setup.

However what’s interesting is the fact that the fingerprint sensor on the back is gone. As you can see in the image above, it looks like Huawei has decided to move the fingerprint sensor to the front and will be giving the phone what looks like a possible physical home button. Also while it’s hard to tell in the image, it looks like the sides of the phone are slightly curved.

Whether or not this is just purely for aesthetics or if it will have functionality like Samsung’s Edge series remains to be seen. In any case we expect the details will be revealed at MWC 2017 which takes place next month, so check back with us then for the official lowdown.
