Last week we reported that the folks at NetherRealm Studios had opened up the signups to gamers who are interested in taking part in the beta for Injustice 2. Now according to a report from Destructoid, it seems that the beta invites are now going out so if you haven’t already done so, maybe you should check your inbox or spam folder to see if you might have missed it.

However if you haven’t received it, not to worry as NetherRealm has confirmed that more invites will be sent out in the near future, so keep those fingers and toes crossed! The beta for Injustice 2 will be kicking off immediately and is expected to run for an entire month, so gamers should be able to get in a fair amount of gameplay from start to end.

It is expected to  feature four characters to choose from, which is quite a small roster but then again this is only a beta. It is possible that maybe NetherRealm could add more characters to the list for testing later, but for now players will only have four to choose from. The developers also released a new gameplay video starring Robin, which you can check out for yourselves in the video above.

As for the game’s release, it was previously announced that the game will be released on the 16th of May, so do keep an eye out for it if you’re interested, or take part in the beta to see if maybe is a game you would pay for.
