galaxy-s8-leaked-render
Samsung is due to unveil the Galaxy S8 in a couple of months which is why we’re hearing so many rumors and reports about the upcoming flagship smartphone. It’s believed that case manufacturers often have an idea of the dimensions and design of upcoming flagship smartphones which is why some of their renders for new products always leak out. The latest leaked Galaxy S8 case suggests that the handset might not dump the 3.5mm headphone jack after all.

It was first reported a few weeks ago that Samsung is going to remove the standard 3.5mm headphone jack from the Galaxy S8. It’s a step that its rivals like Apple have already taken so it’s believed to be only a matter of time before Samsung follows suit as well.

The leaked Galaxy S8 case suggests that this might not be the case. The render does point to some minor design changes that will set the new flagship apart from its predecessor but it also features a cutout for what just might be the standard headphone jack.

It merits mentioning here that this case render is a bit different from the Ghostek Galaxy S8 render we saw yesterday. This only goes to show that nothing is set in stone right now.

Samsung is yet to confirm anything officially about its much-awaited device. Recent rumors suggest that the company just might unveil the Galaxy S8 at MWC 2017 next month even though it won’t be released before April.
