If you’re looking for a cheap no-fuss smartphone, T-Mobile might have you covered as the carrier has recently announced a new smartphone that they’ll be adding to their lineup in the form of the LG Aristo. They even decided to do an unboxing video of the handset which you can check out in the video above.

So what is the LG Aristo? Like we said if you’re after a phone that just gets the job done and you can’t be bothered or don’t want to pay for high-end fancy hardware, the LG Aristo seems to fit that bill rather nicely. Under the hood, the phone is packing a quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz.

There is also 1.5GB of RAM accompanying the handset and we are looking at a 5-inch 720p HD display. There is a fingerprint reader which is a nice touch considering that such security features tend to be left out of budget devices, and there is also a 5MP front-facing camera, a 13MP rear-facing camera, and support for both VoLTE and WiFi calling.

It will come with 16GB of native storage, support for microSD for memory expansion, and it will run on Android 7.0 Nougat. It will be available for purchase from T-Mobile on the 25th of January where it is priced at $144 outright, or $0 down and $6 a month for 24 months if you prefer paying by installments.
