lg-g6-leakGhostek might not necessarily be a brand you’re familiar with when it comes to smartphone accessories, but the company is starting to make a name for themselves in the past couple of weeks. Just last week they posted a rendering of their case designed for the Galaxy S8 which supposedly showed off a rendering of the phone in the process.

Now it seems that they are back with a new case and new rendering, except that this time it is that of the LG G6. As you can see in the image above, it shows Ghostek’s case for the LG G6 and in the explosion view, it shows off the back portion of the phone. Assuming the rendering is accurate, it looks like the LG G6 will not be too big of a departure from the LG G5 in terms of design.

The dual cameras will remain, however the camera hump appears to be gone. The hump wasn’t exactly pronounced in the LG G5, but these renderings show that it is now completely flat. The fingerprint sensor also appears to have been flattened which ultimately results in a slightly more sleek look for the phone.

Of course there’s no way of telling if these renders are any accurate so do take it with a grain of salt, but its design does look like LG has indeed done away with the modular concept. In any case LG has scheduled a press conference for the 26th of February, 2017 at MWC 2017 where presumably the LG G6 will be revealed, so check back with us then for the official details.
