lg-cordzero-handstick-05-1024x682[CES 2017] For those who are lazy to clean their homes of dust, this is where robot vacuum cleaners come in handy. However robot vacuum cleaners aren’t perfect yet and sometimes good old elbow grease is really the way to go about ensuring a clean home. If you agree with that sentiment, LG has a couple of new devices that might help with that.

Announced ahead of CES 2017, LG has taken the wraps off two new vacuum cleaners: the LG CordZero HandStick, and the LG CordZero Canister. The former will be a handheld vacuum cleaner that might be ideal to vacuum the crumbs and debris off a table or down the sides of couches, while the latter is a more traditional vacuum cleaner, except that it is cordless so you don’t have to worry about unplugging it and replugging it again when you move to different rooms.

LG is also boasting about the power of these vacuum cleaners, with the CordZero HandStick said to feature a Smart Inverter Motor that apparently spins 16 times faster than an airplane engine, which also allows it to capture fine dust effectively. It also comes with a built-in filtration system that eliminates dust that would have otherwise gone airborne during the vacuuming process.

As for the CordZero Canister, it will feature LG’s RoboSense 2.0 technology in which the vacuum can follow the user as they move, meaning that you won’t have to keep tugging it along or worry about it getting stuck in corners, thanks to its front-mounted sensors that can detect obstacles.
