Following the success of the original Mass Effect trilogy, it’s safe to say that many gamers are looking forward to getting their hands on the next installment in the franchise, Mass Effect: Andromeda. However the question is when will the game be released? The good news is that gamers won’t have to wait much longer.

In an announcement, BioWare’s general manager Aaryn Flynn revealed that Mass Effect: Andromeda will be seeing a release on the 21st of March, 2017. This date is for the North American market and for those living in the European region, you guys can expect its release a couple of days later on the 23rd of March.

The game was originally planned for a release in 2016, but it was delayed to 2017, but better late than never, right? After all with many gamers having fond memories of the original trilogy, BioWare certainly had to do right by them by ensuring that Andromeda is launched properly. In the meantime during CES 2017, a new gameplay video was revealed which you can check out for yourself in the video above.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will be launched on the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC. As it stands there are no plans to bring it onto the Nintendo Switch, but based on an earlier interview, it seems that this could change pending the success of the Switch and if there is enough demand for the game as well.
