matias-backlit-keyboard[CES 2017] For those familiar with mechanical keyboards, Matias is a brand and a name that you’re probably familiar with. At the same time the company has been known to create non-mechanical keyboards as well, such as their aluminum keyboards which are designed to mimic Apple’s Mac keyboards, at least in terms of design.

If you are looking for something considerably quieter and has a slimmer profile, at CES 2017 Matias took the wraps off their new backlit wireless aluminum keyboard. The keyboard will build on the existing design of the aluminum keyboard, except that this time it will feature backlit keys and has clearly been designed for Mac users in mind.

According to Matias, they are boasting that the keyboard will feature a battery life of 1 year meaning that you can use it for the rest of the year without worrying about it dying on you halfway. Users can pair up to 4 Bluetooth devices to it at the same time, and there is a button that lets you swap between devices, so you can reply messages on your phone, tablet, and swap back to your computer whenever.

The keyboard is priced at $139 and is available in a silver/black finish. It is only expected to begin shipping in June, but if you pre-order now you’ll be able to get free shipping for when it is released.
