While many are curious to see what Microsoft’s Project Scorpio Xbox can bring to the table this year, it is safe to say that the anticipation over the Nintendo Switch is higher. The console represents a new effort from Nintendo which is still reeling from the flop that was the Wii U, so many are at least curious to see how this will affect the company.
Ads for the console have been spotted in Australia, and a recent post on Reddit has revealed that Nintendo’s marketing efforts have also spread to the US as ads for the upcoming console were sighted at a Target outlet. Not much is revealed in the ads except for its release date which is set for March.
When exactly in March remains unclear, but recent speculation has suggested that maybe we could be looking at a 17th of March, 2017 launch. Whether or not that will actually happen remains to be seen, but if you are eager to get your hands on it then that’s a date that you can look forward to.
So far not much is known about the console, but certain things have been confirmed, like how BioWare’s Mass Effect: Andromeda will be skipping the console for now. In any case Nintendo is expected to have the full details ready to be shared on the 12th of January, 2017 which is next week, so check back with us then for more updates.
