switch-uiWe’re not sure why but Nintendo did not exactly dive into as many details as we would have liked about the Switch durings its pricing and availability reveal. Perhaps they were still tweaking things like its UI, but either way it seems that thanks to a recent tweet by indie developer Nicalis, more details have been revealed.

The tweet, for whatever reason, has since been deleted so we’ll have to make do with the screenshot above. However based on what was seen in the image, certain features of the Switch was revealed that Nintendo had failed to mention. One of those features is the ability to swap between multiple users, meaning that unlike the 3DS you could have multiple user profiles stored even when on the go.

The UI also seems to be darker but as Engadget speculates it could be that the UI is simply in night/dark mode, which would hint that maybe it could have 3DS-like menu themes. The upload of the image also confirmed at least two more games for the Switch, both of which are from Nicalis and they are Cave Story and 1001 Spikes.

While you might not be familiar with the developers, we guess at the end of the day it’s still good to know that there are more titles that are being developed for the Switch as having a vast ecosystem will no doubt help the console’s adoption.
