If you’re wondering what other games will be launched on the Nintendo Switch, you can add Rime to that list. Developed by Tequila Works, Rime first made its debut at Gamescom 2013 where it was announced as a PS4 exclusive title. However Sony decided to pull their deal back in 2016 when the game seemed to have taken longer than expected to launch.

However the good news is that because of that, Tequila Works has announced that Rime will now find its way onto multiple platforms. This includes the PC, the Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. It will still be launching on the PS4, but it will no longer be an exclusive title, which we guess is a good thing for non-PS4 players.

According to the folks at Tequila Works, they have described Rime as “a single-player puzzle adventure about discovery, experienced through the eyes of a young boy who awakens on a mysterious island after shipwrecking off its coast. Players must navigate the island’s secrets by making use of light, sound, perspective and even time.”

We have to say that the game looks extremely beautiful and reminds us of the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game is expected to be released later this year in May, so do keep an eye out for it if you’re interested. In the meantime you can check out its gameplay trailer in the video above courtesy of the folks at IGN.
