At CES 2017 last week, Dell took the wraps off an interesting all-in-one (AIO) desktop system that came with a whopping 10 speakers built into it. Clearly the emphasis here is on the sound and it looks like coincidentally, Samsung has also taken the wraps off a similar AIO desktop PC, except that Samsung has chosen to integrate a soundbar into the base of the PC.

With this particular system, it is clear that Samsung is definitely not aiming at creating the thinnest PC possible. Granted the top part of the PC is pretty thin, its base with the soundbar is rather chunky and it does look a bit odd in terms of design, but if having good quality is an important feature for you, then perhaps this PC could be for you.

The soundbar will come with 2x 10W speakers and as for the rest of the specs, there will be a 24-inch Full HD touchscreen display and under the hood, we can look forward to an Intel Core i5-7400T processor clocked at 2.4GHz. There is also the option to have it equipped with 8GB or 16GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive, and according to Samsung, it seems that the computer will be an easy upgrade.

No word on pricing or availability, but apparently a Samsung rep told CNET that there are no plans to sell the PC which seems to suggest that we’re looking a proof of concept rather than an actual product, but what do you guys think? Is this something you might be interested in owning?
