Last week the folks at Bandai Namco said that they would be sharing Tekken 7’s release date this week, and sure enough they did. If you are looking forward to getting your hands on the upcoming game, you’ll be pleased to learn that you will be able to do so starting from the 2nd of June, 2017.

We should remind you guys that Tekken 7 was actually released way back in 2015, but at that time it was only available for play in arcades in Japan. The upcoming release will see the game launch on the PS4 and Xbox One as well as for the PC. There is no word on whether it will eventually find its way onto the Nintendo Switch, so maybe don’t hold your breath just yet.

According to the game’s description, “Tekken 7 represents the final chapter of the 20-year-long Mishima feud. Experience the epic showdown to the emotionally charged family warfare between the members of the Mishima Clan as they struggle to settle old scores and wrestle for control of a global empire. The 7th King of the Iron Fist Tournament has begun and the world now hangs in the balance!”

Tekken 7 is also expected to feature a proper single-player campaign, so if you do enjoy a good storyline then hopefully Tekken 7 won’t disappoint. In the meantime a new trailer has also been released so check it out above.
