If Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm is still your jam, you’ll be pleased to learn that Blizzard has announced that they will be adding a new hero to the game in the near future in the form of Valeera from the Warcraft franchise, which you can see for yourself in action in the video above uploaded onto YouTube.
According to Blizzard’s description in the video, “Prepare your poisons, sharpen your daggers, and choose a target. Valeera, our newest melee assassin Hero, is joining the Nexus in our next major patch along with a ton of awesome new content!” For those unfamiliar, Valeera is a character from the Warcraft universe.
She is a Blood Elf and despite the Blood Elves being of the Horde faction, Valeera is actually a member of the Alliance as she serves as companion to Varian Wrynn, or at least she used to (Legion spoilers!). That being said in addition to putting Valeera into Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard also announced that they will be releasing new skins for existing characters.
Note that all of these changes are currently in development which means that they won’t be added to the game just yet and will be added at a later date, although Blizzard did not mention when.
