Late night talk show host James Corden started the Carpool Karaoke segment on his show some time back. It saw Corden behind the wheel with some of the biggest stars in the music industry as they sang along to their biggest hits and talked about everything from life to hopes and dreams. Apple later acquired the rights to Carpool Karaoke as it intended to make a series out of it and unveiled the first trailer for its Carpool Karaoke: The Series during the Grammy Awards last night.

The short trailer featured the original host James Corden as well as a bevy of stars including but not limited to Will Smith, Arianna Grande, and John Legend. Apple ordered 16 episodes of Carpool Karaoke: The Series last year after it announced that it had purchased the rights to this popular segment from the Late Late Show with James Corden.

Even though Corden appears in the trailer doing what we’ve all seen him do in countless Carpool Karaoke videos, he won’t be hosting every episode of this series. Each episode is going to see a new celebrity host paired with another celebrity.

Carpool Karaoke: The Series is due to be released as an Apple Music exclusive later this year. One would expect that the trailer would have given away the release date but that’s not the case, it only mentions that the series is coming soon.
