The new real-time strategy game Halo Wars 2 was released recently and if you’re still on the fence about picking it up, Microsoft wants to make the decision a bit easy for you. The Halo Wars 2 demo for Xbox One is out now and the company has confirmed that this demo will soon be released for Windows 10 PC as well. Those who don’t need the demo to convince them can go ahead and just buy the game right now on Xbox One or Windows 10 PC.

Included in the Halo Wars 2 demo is a first look at the compaign with mission one titled “The Signal,” aside from the Blitz Firefight in which players test their skills against waves of AI enemies using a pre-built deck of cards from Captain Cutter or Atriox.

All Xbox Live Gold members can play the Halo Wars 2 demo on Xbox One starting today. Microsoft says that it’s going to be made available to anyone with a Microsoft account on Windows 10 PC soon enough as well.

Microsoft will certainly be hoping that this demo convinces those who have not yet purchased this game to go ahead and do so. It’s yet to provide a confirmed release date for the demo on Windows 10 PC but we will be sure to update you when it comes through with that information.
