Honor, a sub-brand owned by Huawei, has confirmed that the Honor 8 Nougat update release is due tomorrow. The company is going to start rolling out the update tomorrow but it does point out that not everybody is going to get it at the same time. It will take a couple of weeks for all Honor 8 users to receive the latest software update, Honor expects to complete the rollout by the end of this month.

The Honor 8 Nougat update is going to bring the latest EMUI 5 skin for this handset. This is the exact same interface that was first launched on the Huawei Mate 9. Honor 8 users in the United States will finally get an app drawer now, a feature that they have long been asking for.

The EMUI 5 experience is going to add a lot more features to the handset as well, including but not limited to design tweaks and improved security options. The company says that this update is going to reduce mis-touches as well.

All of the features that are included in Android 7.0 Nougat are going to arrive with EMUI 5, features like an improved Doze mode, multi-window mode, bundled notifications, customizable quick settings, and more.

Remember, the Honor 8 Nougat release has been set for tomorrow so if you own one, keep your eyes peeled for an update notification in the very near future.
