[MWC 2017] There are so many new laptops being announced all the time that sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming and confusing when it comes to choosing which laptop to purchase. Since most of us expect our laptops to last for a few years, it is important to choose one that we think will last us.

At MWC 2017, Lenovo has announced two new laptop models in the form of the Lenovo Yoga 720 and Yoga 520. Both laptops will share relatively similar specs, but the Yoga 720 will have more options in terms of hardware, so if you’re looking for a slightly more powerful laptop then the Yoga 720 might be of interest to you, while the Yoga 520 is aimed at those who might be shopping on a budget.

Both laptops will support up to an Intel Core i7 processor, but like we said the Yoga 720 will be the more powerful of the two as the 15-inch model will even support an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU. It can even be configured to sport a 4K resolution, so if ultrasharp images is important to you, then imagine cramming all that resolution into either a 13-inch or 15-inch display.

However apart from that, both laptops can be converted into tablets by folding the keyboard back. There is active pen support if you want to take down some notes by hand or want to doodle. There are even security features such as a fingerprint scanner. In terms of pricing and availability, the Yoga 720 13-inch is price at $860 while the 15-inch model will start from $1,100. Both are expected to be made available in April. As for the Yoga 520, this will be more affordable and is priced starting at €599 and will be available in Europe starting this July.
