When Overwatch was announced, many gamers were curious as to whether or not Blizzard would be adding characters from the game into their MOBA Heroes of the Storm, in which Blizzard confirmed that they would. Given that Heroes of the Storm is basically comprised of characters across Blizzard’s games, we guess it was a given.

The first character that was introduced to the game was Tracer, which isn’t surprising considering that Tracer is seen as the unofficial mascot for the game. In case Tracer isn’t really your kind of character and you have another character you’d rather see, you’ll be pleased to learn that Blizzard has since announced that Lucio will be the next character from Overwatch that will be added to the game.

According to Blizzard’s description, “The Nexus has a new musical guest: Lúcio! Debuting in the Nexus during our Feb 6 PTR, experience our newest Support Hero and get ready to drop the beat in all your favorite battlegrounds. It’s time to heal up!” It sounds like Lucio will be more of a support/healing hero than one that mans the front lines, but if support is more of your play style, then why not?

Lucio will be playable in the Heroes of the Storm PTR come 6th of February, which is Blizzard’s way of testing out new content and patches ahead of a public release. We’re not sure when the character will be officially added to the game, but in the meantime you can check out Lucio’s teaser trailer above.
