As you might have heard with the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo is changing its online services where users will have to pay a monthly subscription for users to use its services and to play games with others. This is pretty much in line with what we’ve seen from other platforms such as Sony and Microsoft, and it makes sense as it brings Nintendo a new source of revenue.

That being said if you’re interested in reserving your User ID for the upcoming Nintendo Switch’s online services, you’ll want to hurry because it looks like Nintendo is now letting users reserve their user IDs for use with the Switch upon its release. Chances are this User ID will be used in place of your account name when you are playing games, so if you want something that’s a bit memorable than perhaps you’ll want to reserve it while it’s relatively new.

This can be accessed via your Nintendo Account in which you might already have registered if you’ve been using the company’s services, or if you’ve been playing their mobile games. If you haven’t then you can go ahead and register for a free account and then reserve your User ID. The Nintendo Switch is currently set for a release on the 3rd of March, 2017 and is expected to launch with a handful of games at the start.
