Nintendo is coming close to releasing its next-generation gaming console with each passing day. The company has now started to more some more details about the Nintendo Switch and is also giving fans a better look. An unboxing video of the Nintendo Switch created with the company’s blessing was released yesterday on YouTube so get the hype machine rolling for this console. However, those who are looking to purchase the Switch should pay attention because the company today confirmed something about the virtual games that have been promised for the Switch.

It has been previously reported that Nintendo Switch is going to support retro GameCube games as part of its virtual console feature. However, the company today confirmed that Nintendo Switch virtual games “will not be available on Nintendo Switch at launch. We will share more information in the future.”

It’s not like the Switch’s eShop is going to be completely empty at launch. A couple of indie games will be available when the console launches next month. Nintendo does say that the eShop is going to have more than 60 indie titles by the end of this year. There’s also some good news for those who own a 3DS or Wii U.

The company has confirmed that those users will be able to share their wallet for purchases all three Nintendo consoles. “Once they link their Nintendo Network ID and Nintendo Account and then their Nintendo Account to their Nintendo Switch system, this functionality becomes possible,” the company adds.

Nintendo Switch is going to be released on March 3rd, 2017.
