You might have read recently that someone received a Nintendo Switch unit two weeks ahead of release from an unnamed retailer. The person who received the console shared some pictures and videos of it. It was later revealed that the unit was actually stolen by employees of one of Nintendo’s distributors in the United States so the person sent it back to the company. You don’t need to rely on leaked units for an unboxing video because the official Nintendo Switch unboxing video has now been posted online.

The folks at Nintendo Minute have the company’s blessing to post an unboxing video for its new console on YouTube. If they didn’t, it’s not like this video would have stayed up on YouTube for a very long time.

The Nintendo Switch unboxing video is going to give you a good look at the console’s touch screen, where the relevant outputs are, the game card, speakers, microSD card slots, and more. You even get a good look at the Joy Con controllers as well as information about the multiple options available on each controller like where it can read ammibo, where the share button is located, etc.

It a pretty lengthy video at just over 11 minutes so if you’ve been very curious about the Nintendo Switch you’re certainly going to like it. Nintendo is going to release its next-generation gaming console on March 3rd.
