Have you ever wondered what it would be like to rock out on stage in front of an audience? Some of you guys might have had that privilege, but for others, the notion might simply just be a fantasy. However the good news is that fantasy could soon become a reality, virtual reality in fact.

This is because the folks at Harmonix have announced that Rock Band VR will be arriving on the 23rd of March, 2017. This is according to a post on Twitter by the official Rock Band account. If this sounds familiar, it is because back in December 2015, the developers announced that they would be bringing Rock Band into the virtual reality space, and we guess it is finally here.

The game will be supported on the Oculus Rift and there is no word on whether or not we might be able to expect it to arrive for other platforms, such as the HTC Vive, or maybe even the PlayStation VR. This means that when you place your pre-order be sure to take note of which platform you’re selecting because as Harmonix notes, “Rock Band VR is a PC game designed for use with Oculus Rift. Rock Band VR will only work on your Oculus-Enabled PC.”

If you’re interested in placing your pre-order, head on over to Amazon’s website where the bundle (game and guitar controller) is being sold.
