The latest iteration in the Sniper Elite franchise, Sniper Elite 4, is going to be out in the not so distant future. Those who are waiting for the new title will be interested to find out that Sniper Elite 4 is going to have DirectX 12 and PlayStation 4 Pro support at launch. This is very useful information for those who plan on playing this game either on PC or Sony’s most powerful gaming console.

Rebellion has confirmed that Sniper Elite 4 is going to be optimized for the PlayStation 4 Pro. This means that the game will provide players with faster loading times, enhanced frame rate, and improved lighting.

Players on the PlayStation 4 Pro will also experience increased draw distances and geometry level of detail aside from better lighting and increased quality of reflections. Overall, it’s going to be a much better visual experience compared to playing the same title on the PlayStation 4.

PC users will be glad to know that Sniper Elite 4 is going to have support for DirectX 12 at launch. Those who haven’t upgraded to Windows 10 yet don’t need to worry because it’s obviously going to have support for DirectX 11 as well.

Fans of the franchise don’t have to wait for much longer as Sniper Elite 4 is going to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 14th.
