With the acquisition of Withings, it is clear that Nokia is no longer interested in being all about smartphones. For those unfamiliar, Withings is a company creates smart and connected devices for the home, such as a connected weighing scale, smart thermometers, and let’s not forget smartwatches as well.

Basically most of Withings’ efforts appear to be health related, and if you’ve enjoyed the company’s offerings so far, you’ll be pleased to learn that Withings will have something new to announce at MWC 2017. This is according to a tweet by the company in which they revealed that they’ll be joining Nokia on stage at MWC to make some kind of announcement.

We’re not sure what they have in mind but like we said, Withings’ efforts appear to be largely health-related so there’s a good chance their announcement might have something to do with that as well. Nokia is also expected to take the stage at MWC where they’ll have several new smartphones to announce.

However we have heard an interesting rumor which is that we could be looking at a revival of the Nokia 3310 feature phone which will be launched as an homage of sorts, so that’s definitely pretty exciting news as well so do check back with us on the 26th of February for the details.
