[MWC 2017] The cameras on our smartphones these days really plays an important role when choosing which phone to purchase. If you are in agreement then you might be interested to learn that ZTE has announced a new smartphone part of their Blade series that is aimed at smartphone photo enthusiasts (on a budget).

Dubbed the ZTE Blade V8 Mini, ZTE is boasting how this phone is aimed at the more discerning smartphone photographer. This is because the handset comes with dual cameras on its back, with one camera sporting a 13MP sensor while the other packs a 2MP sensor. Both cameras will work concurrently with the rear flash and according to ZTE, it should result in photos with pretty good Bokeh, although we guess this is something we’ll have to test for ourselves.

Apart from its cameras, the ZTE Blade V8 Mini has specs of a mid-ranger. We’re talking about a 5-inch HD display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, a 5MP front-facing camera, a 2,800mAh battery, and it will run on Android 7.0 Nougat. It will also come with a fingerprint sensor for security purposes. The sensor can also be used to launch specific apps depending on how you set it up.

Pricing has not been mentioned but given that the specs of the ZTE Blade V8 Mini aren’t exactly the most high-end, plus given ZTE’s penchant for relatively affordable devices, there’s a good chance it won’t be breaking the bank.
