It has almost become a tradition that Apple’s online store closes hours before its keynote speech at one of its major events where it unveils new products. The store goes back up again after the keynote with updated product pages. However, the company may take the store offline from time to time for maintenance and the updated system status page shows that it will be down early tomorrow morning. It’s interesting to note that this maintenance session has been scheduled amid increasing whispers about new products.

It was reported last week that Apple may launch its 2017 iPad lineup without conducting a press event. What this means is that the company will simply send out a press release informing the world that the new iPads are now available for purchase.

It has also been rumored that Apple is going to launch a 128GB iPhone SE model alongside the new tablets since this particular model was launched in March last year, the timing appears to be right for the addition of a new configuration.

Apple’s system status page mentions that the Apple Store will be down for maintenance from 3 am until 8:30 am Eastern, 8:30 am Eastern also happens to be the time when Apple often sends out press releases for new products.

So let’s wait until tomorrow and see if the online Apple Store comes back up with new products or not.
