With Overwatch pretty much being a pure multiplayer game, it means that in terms of character development and background story, it isn’t quite the same compared to more traditional single-player games, or MMORPGs with questlines and so on. This is why we’ve seen Blizzard go to painstaking detail to craft interesting stories in the form of comics and videos for their characters.For those who love their lore, you might be pleased to learn that Blizzard has recently published its latest Overwatch comic called “Binary”. This comic will feature characters such as Torbjorn and Bastion and according to Blizzard, “In “Binary,” locals have spotted a Bastion unit roaming the woods, and they believe it’s only a matter of time before the dangerous omnic tries to destroy them. As they assemble to discuss what to do, a mysterious stranger arrives… someone who has experience fighting Bastions and is eager to hunt them down.”
The comic was written by Blizzard’s own Matt Burns and James Waugh and illustrated by Joe Ng and Espen Grundetjern.
