For those who love customizing the color and look of their gadgets, ColorWare might be a company familiar to you. If you’re not familiar with ColorWare’s work, basically they’re a company that will give your gadgets a customized fresh coat of paint, thus opening up various possibilities and color combos that aren’t offered in an official capacity.

That being said, the company is back with a new design for Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus and they are calling it the iPhone 7 Plus Retro Edition. As you can see in the photo above, the Retro Edition basically gives the iPhone 7 Plus a makeover to make it resemble a classic Mac computer from back in the day.

It’s got that slightly beige color finish to it, the “vents” on its sides, and the colorful Apple logo on the back. According to ColorWare, the Retro Edition model will be running for a limit period of time, and that the first 25 units sold will come with a number of authenticity. While we appreciate the sentiment, we have to say that it kind of kills the sleek look that the iPhone has going for it.

However if you are a fan, note that the iPhone 7 Plus Retro Edition will not come cheap as colorware has priced it at $1,899. It is a SIM-free model so you can use it on any compatible carrier, and it also comes with 256GB of storage. The phone itself would have cost you $969 so you’re almost paying double for the new coat of paint.
