Every year during April Fool’s, companies come up with all kinds of weird and funny ways to troll and trick their customers, and Google has been doing a pretty good job at pranking their users over the years. This year’s April Fool’s is no different, and in a way this year’s “prank” is actually a rather fun one.

If you were to head on over to Google Maps on your desktop, or launch the app on your smartphone, you’ll notice a button at the bottom left corner of your screen that when you press will launch a game of Ms. Pac-Man. The best part of this is that instead of using pre-generated maps, Google Maps will actually use the roads around your area (or any area that you choose) to play the game on.

All users have to do is use the arrow keys on their keyboard to move their character around, or if you’re playing on a smartphone, just swipe your way around the map. It’s a fun game and if you’re looking to get some laughs or just a couple of minutes of entertainment, the game should be more than up for the task.

In fact you could even challenge yourself by changing locations and maps if you want to make things interesting. This isn’t the first time that Google has turned to Pac-Man for its “jokes”, and who knows, maybe this could prove to be popular enough where Google could keep it around for the future!
