As you might have heard, it seems that Apple has started to accept orders for the LG UltraFine 5K displays again. However in our previous report, we noted that the shipping times for the displays were listed as 1-2 weeks, meaning that they should arrive on the 8th of March at the earliest.

However according to a report from AppleInsider, it looks like some orders have already shipped which means that they should have arrived by the weekend, or at the very least early next week. We’re not sure if this applies to all customers or just customers who were quick on the trigger when the display was relisted again, but either way we guess it’s good news.

For those hearing about this for the first time, it was discovered that due to insufficient RF shielding, the LG UltraFine 5K displays were glitching out when placed too close to routers. This resulted in the sales of the monitor being suspended while LG worked on the issue, which thankfully seems to only affect the 5K version.

There have been no reports of similar issues affecting the smaller 4K model, so for those who are planning on getting the LG UltraFine 4K, you don’t have anything to worry about. It should also be noted that the monitors are still being sold at their discounted prices so if you want to take advantage of it, you probably should while it’s still valid.
