When you think of luxury fashion goods, Louis Vuitton might be one of the brands that comes to mind. Unsurprisingly apart from making bags, the company also makes cases for smartphones, although its most recent batch of smartphones designed for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus might leave you a lot poorer than you’d like.

The company has recently unveiled some new cases for the Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus called Eye-Trunk cases, which we guess could be a play on the “i” that Apple uses in the iPhone, and the luggage trunks which is one of the things that Louis Vuitton is probably most well-known for. However these cases don’t come cheap with the most expensive model priced at a whopping $5,500.

There are “cheaper” options but the cheapest option we’ve seen so far was priced at $1,180, and of course we should point out that all of this is without the phone included. Had the phone been included maybe, just maybe, its price could be justified, but it doesn’t so we guess you’ve really got to ask yourself how badly do you want this.

To give you guys some perspective, Apple’s most expensive iPhone configuration, which is the iPhone 7 Plus with 256GB of storage, is only priced at . In any case we expect that these cases are catered towards customers who would probably buy them without batting an eyelid, but if you’re interested check out Louis Vuitton’s website for the details.
