It is no secret that USB-C will eventually become the standard and will ultimately replace the current USB ports, and we’ve already seen companies start to make that change, namely Apple who decided to equip its more recent laptops with only USB-C ports. What this means is that for now, consumers will have to rely on dongles to get the job done.

As if the MacBook Pros weren’t expensive enough, the fact that you’d have to buy dongles to use legacy accessories means more money spent, which is why last year Apple decided to hold a promotion where they would discount dongles and accessories to make the transition to USB-C easier (and cheaper), and that sale ends today.

The sale was originally meant to conclude at the end of 2016, but Apple extended it to the 31st of March, 2017 which is today, so today is basically your last chance to get in on this deal before the prices go back to their normal levels. While the discounts on the cables and adapters aren’t much, the real “winners” are on the LG UltraFine displays where you would actually end up saving hundreds of dollars.

For example the LG UltraFine 4K is currently available for $524 where it would normally be $700, while the LG UltraFine 5K is priced at $974, which is a pretty steep discount from its original price of $1,300. If you’d like to get in on this deal, head on over to Apple’s Online Store for the details.
