We’ve been hearing for a few months now that Apple is going to conduct an event in March to show off its new iPads. That’s what everybody has been expecting but if a new report is to be believed, the company is going to launch its new iPad Pros next week and that it might do so without a launch event. This would be odd but it’s not like the company hasn’t announced refreshed products with a press release before.
Apple normally sends invites to the press a week before an upcoming event so if the new iPads are really going to be unveiled next week it should have sent out the invites to the press by now. This leads many to believe that Apple won’t actually conduct a launch event for the new iPads.
MacRumors reports, citing “reputable supply chain analysts,” that the company is “most likely” going to launch its new iPad Pros next week, between March 20 and March 24. Apple is expected to announce refreshed versions of the 9.7 inch iPad Pro and the 12.9 inch iPad Pro in the coming days. Both products are well overdue for an update.
As previously mentioned, Apple should have sent out the invites by now and if it hasn’t, either it’s going to send invites at the last moment which would be more unorthodox or it’s simply going to announce the new iPads without a launch event. It has done this in the past as well for new Macs so it won’t really be that surprising.
