At MWC earlier last month, Nokia and HMD Global took the wraps off several new Android-powered smartphones. So while we do know they exist, the question is will they be made available in the US? The good news is that if these smartphones caught your attention, note that they will be available for purchase in the US.

This was confirmed by Nokia Mobile’s Twitter account in which the company confirmed their US availability. In terms of a specific release date for the US, there was no mentioned and there was also no mention of which carriers will be carrying the handsets, or if they will be sold unlocked, but we expect that these details should be revealed closer to their launch.

However we should also point out that as far as Nokia phones are concerned, there is at least one Nokia phone that won’t be coming stateside and that is the relaunched Nokia 3310 which the company had previously confirmed already. Then again we suppose in developed markets the need for a feature phone is less, so it is understandable why Nokia and HMD might have chosen to skip the US market in this case.

Apart from these three handsets announced at MWC, there are rumors that Nokia could have more devices in the works, such as two more mid-rangers and two more Snapdragon 835-powered flagships.
