A little over a week ago, Google officially announced the next major revision of Android in the form of Android O. The update was also made available as a developer preview, and clearly at this stage the preview is aimed at developers as opposed to regular users, but for those who are curious, Google has published a new video that will highlight some of the changes.

However we should point out that this video is once again aimed mostly at developers, but if you are familiar with the Android operating system, we suppose some of the topics covered might be of interest to you as it would signify the changes that Google will be making to Android O, as well as what you might be able to expect from apps in the future with features of Android O that developers could take advantage of.

The video is presented by Google’s Nasir Khan and runs for about 6 minutes so it isn’t particularly detailed, but we guess it should be good enough for developers to get an idea of what they can expect. No word on when Google will release Android O to the masses, but based on Android 7.0 Nougat’s release, Android users will have a bit of waiting to do, especially if they do not own a Nexus/Pixel device.
