About a week ago, OnePlus announced the OnePlus 3T Colette Edition, which is basically the OnePlus 3T in a special limited edition finish. However at the time of announcement, it was revealed that the Colette Edition of the phone would only be available in Paris. This is a bit of a bummer as the handset certainly looks very appealing.

However there is good news because OnePlus has announced the OnePlus 3T Midnight Black edition which will be a limited edition run of 250 units. The phone will be going on sale via Hypebeast come 24th of March at 4PM GMT where you can expect to pay $479/€479/£439 for the 128GB model with 6GB of RAM.

If you aren’t quick enough, not to worry as OnePlus has also announced that the Midnight Black edition of the phone will also be made available at some point in the future via its US and Europe online stores. These will also be limited in nature but we guess at the very least customers will get another chance at trying to buy the phone.

OnePlus is boasting that they went through 30 different variations before deciding on this finish, which was achieved by applying three 14-micron thick dark coatings, making it thin enough to maintain the look and feel of the aluminum body, but giving it a different look at the same time.
