Last week Blizzard unveiled the latest hero and playable character that would be added to Overwatch in the form of Orisa. The character was later made available via the Public Test Realm where PC gamers were able to take the character for a spin, test out its abilities, and whatnot.

Now if you’re a console player looking to get your hands on Orisa, there is some bad news as it appears that you might have to wait a little longer than usual. This is according to a recent post by Overwatch’s director Jeff Kaplan in the forums where he revealed that it might take a bit longer than expected.

Kaplan’s post on the forums reads, “Just to clarify, we’re leaving Orisa on the PTR for a little while. We’re getting great feedback and fixing a lot of issues. I know this feels a little longer than other PTR periods, but we think it will be for the better. We know how anxious you all are to have Orisa join your ranks… and she will soon… but most likely she will go live later in the month rather than this early.”

No specific dates were mentioned but if you’re a console gamer looking to try out the new character, we guess you’ll just have to remain patient, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information regarding its release.
